Predictive Tools

To quickly and inexpensively guide practitioners to decisions, new approach methodologies (NAMs) rely heavily on predictive tools to quantify risk. ScitoVation staff have a long history of pioneering or using these approaches.

Our capabilities include use of the following:

  • Pre-assessment Tools
    • Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationship (QSAR) models to estimate hazard properties, physical properties, biokinetic parameters
  • Transcriptomics and Bioinformatics
    • Benchmark Dose tools to estimate changes across affected pathways rather than at the individual gene level
    • Tools for visualizing data from transcriptomic studies for interpreting biological responses to chemicals (MoAviz), such as dose-response, mode of action, and differences in responses across experimental factors

    • Dose response modeling for toxicity pathways
